Logistics Manager – Haiti

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a resilient and dynamic Logistics Manager to lead its logistics operations in Haiti. The role ensures that all logistics activities meet NRC standards, support programme implementation, and enable effective cash‑based interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide line‑management for logistics staff, including performance management, recruitment, induction and staff development.
• Ensure the country logistics structure complies with NRC guidelines, policies and donor requirements.
• Implement and adapt NRC logistics systems, develop local logistics policy documentation, and maintain modern accounting systems.
• Deliver timely logistics support to all NRC programme activities and coordinate closely with programme managers across Area Offices.
• Facilitate cash‑based and market‑based interventions by creating guidelines, SOPs and participating in assessments.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with 3‑5 years of senior logistics management experience in humanitarian or recovery contexts.
• Proven results in complex, volatile environments and experience with start‑up or exit phases.
• Fluency in written and spoken French and English; knowledge of Haitian Creole is an advantage.
• Valid driving licence and solid knowledge of the Haitian context.
