Program Manager – Haiti Health Programs

About the role

Americares is seeking a Program Manager to lead its health programs in Haiti. The position is based in Les Cayes and combines on‑site work with occasional remote collaboration to support both ongoing initiatives and emergency responses.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Haiti programmatic portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational policies, strategy, and mission.
• Strengthen health centre capacity to deliver equitable, quality services, including medical commodities, workforce, and infrastructure.
• Develop, adapt, and improve health protocols for partners and internal teams.
• Maintain rigor, quality, compliance, and safety across all programming, especially during emergencies.
• Monitor performance, identify challenges, and implement timely solutions.
• Provide strategic leadership and vision for Americares Haiti’s health initiatives.
• Support proposal development, work‑plan creation, and budgeting processes.
• Cultivate donor relationships to secure funding for ongoing and emergency projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing health or humanitarian programs in low‑resource settings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and partnership‑building skills.
• Ability to travel within Haiti and adapt to emergency contexts.
