Protection from Violence Programme Development Manager

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a Protection from Violence Programme Development Manager for Haiti. In this senior‑level position you will lead the design, development and implementation of NRC’s Protection from Violence (PfV) programme, aiming to reduce and mitigate the impact of violence and other protection risks on individuals and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop the PfV programme strategy and work plans in line with NRC’s values and objectives.
• Oversee implementation of programme activities, ensuring they address identified protection risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams, partners and local stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes, providing evidence‑based recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with NRC policies on safety, wellbeing and zero‑tolerance for exploitation.

• Highly qualified professional with demonstrated resilience and dynamism.
• Strong commitment to humanitarian principles and protection of vulnerable populations.
• Experience working in complex emergency contexts, preferably in Haiti.
