Technical Consultant – Development of Haiti’s Gavi 6.0 Application (2026–2030)

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is seeking a Technical Consultant to lead the development of Haiti’s Gavi 6.0 application for the 2026‑2030 period. The role is remote/home‑based with occasional mission travel to support a high‑quality, compliant, and competitive submission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on preparing a comprehensive Gavi 6.0 application package.
• Assist in selecting and justifying priority immunization functions and partners.
• Develop a fully costed multi‑year workplan with clear indicators and targets.
• Ensure alignment with the Partnership Accountability Framework and robust monitoring mechanisms.
• Coordinate with national stakeholders to demonstrate country ownership and partner coordination.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Health Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience with Gavi applications.
• More than 5 years experience in immunization programme implementation and management.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of immunization programmes.
• Expertise in Gavi funding mechanisms and the Gavi 6.0 Country Foundations approach.
• Proficiency in health systems strengthening.
• Familiarity with developing costed workplans, indicators and monitoring frameworks.
