Child Protection Specialist (P-3) – Temporary Appointment

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Child Protection Specialist (P-3) on a temporary appointment to strengthen its child protection programme in Haiti. Based in Port‑au‑Prince, you will support the full programme cycle, from planning to evaluation, ensuring interventions are aligned with UNICEF’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme and project development, including planning and design of child protection interventions.
• Manage programme implementation, monitor progress, and deliver results against targets.
• Provide technical and operational guidance throughout the programme cycle.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government counterparts, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
• Promote innovation, knowledge management, and capacity‑building activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law, or a related social science.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in project planning and management within child protection or related fields.
• Experience working at the international level in developing countries, preferably in emergency contexts.
