Contracts Officer – Procurement & Contract Management (6‑month temporary)

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is looking for a dynamic Contracts Officer to support procurement and contract management activities in a challenging humanitarian environment. The role is based in Port‑au‑Prince with possible relocation to a field office, subject to security conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Support timely and cost‑effective procurement and contracting, including emergency response purchases.
• Maintain and update contract tracking systems and procurement databases.
• Coordinate tendering processes, evaluate bids, and prepare award documentation.
• Monitor contract performance, ensure compliance with UNICEF policies and donor requirements.
• Liaise with internal programme teams, suppliers, and external partners to facilitate smooth delivery of goods and services.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented professional with strong procurement and contract management experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, security‑sensitive environment.
• Commitment to UNICEF’s mission and to delivering results for children.
