Contracts Officer (Temporary, 6 months) – Port-au-Prince, Haiti

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is looking for a dynamic Contracts Officer to support procurement and contract management activities in a challenging humanitarian environment. The position is based in Port‑au‑Prince with the possibility of relocation to a field office, depending on security conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Support timely and cost‑effective procurement and contracting, including emergency response needs.
• Maintain contract tracking systems and procurement monitoring tools to ensure proper oversight.
• Coordinate with internal programme teams and external suppliers to facilitate the delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with UNICEF policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Monitor contract performance, manage amendments, and assist in closing contracts.

Required profile

• Proactive, results‑oriented professional with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management, preferably in humanitarian or development settings.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving security conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with contract tracking systems.
• Experience using procurement monitoring tools.
