Contracts Officer (Temporary, 6 months) – Port-au-Prince

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is looking for a dynamic Contracts Officer to support procurement and contract management in a complex humanitarian environment. The position is based in Port‑au‑Prince with possible relocation to a field office, depending on security conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Support timely and cost‑effective procurement and contracting activities, including emergency responses.
• Maintain and update contract tracking systems and procurement monitoring tools.
• Coordinate with internal programme teams and external suppliers to ensure delivery of goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with UNICEF policies, procedures and donor requirements.
• Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Chief of Supply and Logistics.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional with strong procurement and contract management experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented humanitarian setting.
• Commitment to UNICEF’s mission and to improving outcomes for children.
