Education Officer – UNICEF Haiti

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is seeking a dedicated Education Officer to support the design, implementation and monitoring of education programmes across development, humanitarian and nexus contexts. Based in Port‑au‑Prince, you will work closely with the Chief of Education and partner organisations to improve access to quality, inclusive learning for children.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme development and planning in development, nexus and emergency settings.
• Manage programme delivery, monitor progress and ensure results are achieved.
• Provide technical and operational guidance to implementing partners.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies and other stakeholders.
• Utilise data and evidence to inform decision‑making and reporting.
• Contribute to innovation, knowledge management and capacity‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Development, Social Sciences, Programme Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in education programme planning, implementation, monitoring, partnership management, data analysis or reporting.
• Strong commitment to children’s rights and ability to work in complex and emergency contexts.
