About the role

This remote position involves contributing to a large, diverse facial image dataset for machine‑learning research at TELUS. You will capture and submit current neutral selfies, head‑pose images, and historical photos to help improve facial recognition models.

Key responsibilities

• Take clear, frontal selfies that serve as high‑quality identity references.
• Capture additional images following assigned head‑direction guidelines to introduce pose variation.
• Provide older photos from personal galleries to represent natural aging.
• Submit a minimum of 20 valid images per batch, aiming for 30 to ensure enough pass quality control.
• Follow all quality‑control guidelines to maximize accepted images.

Required profile

• Access to a smartphone or camera capable of taking high‑resolution photos.
• Comfortable sharing personal images for research purposes.
• No specific education or prior experience required.
• Ability to use a Gmail address as the primary account for project submission.

Required skills

• Basic photography skills (clear lighting, focus, and composition).
