Senior Financial Analyst – Remote

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a fast‑growing multi‑brand home services company. This fully remote position works directly with ownership, bridging accounting, operations, and sales to ensure the financial data is accurate, reliable, and actionable.

Key responsibilities

• Trace every expense to the correct job, department, and category, eliminating miscoded spend.
• Own purchase‑order accuracy from issuance through receipt and reconcile revenue, COGS, and gross‑profit metrics by brand and job.
• Reconcile data across the field‑service platform, QuickBooks, and CRM, catching discrepancies before they affect the P&L.
• Produce timely, defensible commission reports for technicians.
• Support budgeting and expense planning across multiple brands and entities.
• Build and maintain department‑level dashboards, KPI tracking, and regular reporting packages for ownership.
• Maintain CRM data hygiene, including tag structures, duplicate detection, and clean pipeline data.
• Write and enforce data standards as the company scales.
• Identify margin erosion, cost creep, pricing issues, and outlier jobs, investigating variances and delivering solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years in accounting, financial analysis, FP&A, or business operations.
• Hands‑on job‑costing experience with a strong grasp of how mis‑allocation impacts gross margin.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets expertise, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks in a multi‑entity environment.
• Experience with a CRM or field‑service management platform and quick learning ability for new systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English for weekly video calls and documentation.
• Detail‑oriented with the judgment to prioritize critical discrepancies.
