Budget Officer – Fixed Term – Port-au-Prince, Haiti

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and results‑oriented Budget Officer to join the Operations team. The role supports effective budget planning, financial monitoring, donor reporting and fund management, contributing to the organization’s mission of delivering lasting results for children in a complex humanitarian environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support formulation of strategies and concepts for financial planning.
• Conduct budget analysis to ensure alignment with programme results.
• Manage contribution processes including budget allocation, monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain financial dashboard reports for internal and donor use.
• Produce financial reports related to resource mobilisation and donor reporting.
• Provide VISION system support for fund management.
• Oversee cost distribution and payroll coordination.

Required profile

• Analytical and results‑oriented mindset.
• Experience in budgeting, financial monitoring and donor reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with country, regional and headquarters teams.
• Strong communication skills in English.
