Freelance Face Deduplication Image Collection

About the role

We are looking for freelancers to build a large, diverse dataset of facial images that will be used to train and improve TELUS’s facial‑recognition models. Participants will submit current neutral selfies, head‑pose captures and historical photos, providing a wide range of lighting, expressions, accessories and aging variations.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and submit at least 20 high‑quality neutral selfies per participant.
• Capture head‑pose selfies following assigned directions to add pose variation.
• Provide older photographs from personal galleries to represent natural aging.
• Ensure each image meets the quality‑control standards to be accepted.
• Submit images through the designated platform using a Gmail account.

Required profile

• No specific education or prior experience required.
• Must have a Gmail address to register for the project.
• Ability to provide a minimum of 20 valid images and preferably 30 to account for QC filtering.

What we offer

• Compensation of $0.55 USD per accepted image.
• Maximum payout based on up to 24 accepted images.
