Deputy Director of Finance (Haiti)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Deputy Director of Finance to provide financial leadership for its Haiti country program. Based in Haiti, the role reports jointly to the Country Director and the Regional Controller and supports the senior management team in delivering the organization’s strategic vision.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial information and strategic analysis to support senior management decision‑making.
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of the Country Program’s strategic and operational plans.
• Ensure compliance with IRC, donor, and local financial policies and procedures.
• Establish and adapt in‑country finance procedures to complement global policies.
• Act as the principal finance business partner to the Country Director, senior management, and regional staff.
• Oversee controllership functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and analytical review.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial leadership within an international or humanitarian context.
• Strong knowledge of donor compliance, local financial regulations, and IRC financial control standards.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and provide strategic financial guidance.
• Experience managing complex budgets and financial analysis for multi‑country programs.
