EU Global Gateway Coordination Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking senior experts to support the European Union’s Global Gateway Initiative. The role involves coordinating investment‑oriented development programmes across partner countries receiving EU external cooperation support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement reform strategies and policy actions aligned with Global Gateway priorities.
• Coordinate activities across priority sectors and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Identify, prepare and advance investment projects that meet EU criteria.
• Conduct regulatory, institutional and sector analyses to inform project pipelines.
• Facilitate collaboration between partner‑country institutions, IFIs, private sector actors and development partners.
• Support stakeholder engagement, dialogue facilitation and donor alignment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in development cooperation, infrastructure or investment.
• Proven experience in EU‑funded external cooperation programmes.
• Background in project preparation or coordination under the EU Global Gateway or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with partner‑country institutions, IFIs or private sector stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, coordination and communication abilities.

Required skills

• English proficiency at C1 level (mandatory).
