IT Support Specialist – World Bank Haiti Office

About the role

The World Bank is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide on‑site technology assistance to staff at its Haiti office and visiting colleagues from other locations. You will ensure reliable access to hardware, software and enterprise systems, contributing to a seamless digital experience for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine troubleshooting and log service requests to maintain reliable workplace technologies.
• Escalate complex issues to advanced support teams while maintaining service quality.
• Set up, support and maintain standard devices, network equipment, servers, software, IP phones, videoconferencing and AV systems.
• Monitor system performance, participate in technology projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide user guidance, timely issue resolution and documentation of support activities.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and Haitian Creole; English proficiency is preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site five days a week in Cap Haitien.
• Experience in providing IT support in a multi‑user environment.
