Protection from Violence Programme Development Manager – Haiti

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a dynamic professional to lead the design, development and implementation of its Protection from Violence (PfV) programme in Haiti. The role focuses on reducing violence‑related risks, ensuring safety, dignity and resilience of affected individuals and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise the PfV team, managing performance, objectives and professional development.
• Develop and update the PfV strategy, technical SOPs, guidelines and macro‑log‑frames in line with regional and global priorities.
• Ensure compliance with NRC policies, global PfV strategy and relevant protection standards.
• Align programme development with national strategies and international protection frameworks.
• Lead proposal writing and programme development to diversify donor funding.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of senior‑level project implementation experience in humanitarian or recovery settings.
• Advanced academic qualification in law, social sciences or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of protection issues, legal frameworks and humanitarian standards.
• Experience working in complex and volatile environments.
