General Manager – Marketing and Ecommerce Growth

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on General Manager whose strongest skills are marketing, ecommerce and profitable growth. You will split your time between running HoopStars, a youth basketball business, and building the parent company’s marketing team across its brands.

Key responsibilities

• Own HoopStars’ business plan, budget, revenue, profitability and cash forecasts; lead sales and operations.
• Drive digital growth by improving paid search, social, creative assets, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing, offers, referrals and retention.
• Define, recruit and manage the parent marketing team, including specialists, contractors or agencies.
• Establish commercial discipline by linking campaign performance to paying customers, repeat enrollment and contribution profit.
• Inspect advertising accounts, diagnose funnel problems and launch improvements while building a scalable team.

Required profile

• Proven track record building an ecommerce business, leading growth for a consumer brand, or managing a digitally‑driven service business.
• Demonstrated results in paid acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Commercial responsibility beyond marketing budget, including pricing, margins, staffing and profitability.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or other specialists.
• Strong professional English and effective remote leadership.
