Grants and Capacity Building Officer – Multiple Duty Stations

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Grants and Capacity Building Officer to support a project in Haiti that strengthens civil society organisations (CSOs) in border regions. The role contributes to the protection, reintegration and social inclusion of forcibly returned migrants and vulnerable host communities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation and monitoring of capacity‑building activities for CSOs.
• Manage grant preparation, submission, allocation and financial reporting in line with IOM guidelines.
• Coordinate with governmental, intergovernmental and non‑governmental partners to ensure effective project delivery.
• Prepare regular progress reports, data analyses and documentation for donors and internal stakeholders.
• Support the development of training materials and facilitate workshops for CSO partners.

Required profile

• Open to first‑ and second‑tier candidates, with priority for qualified female applicants.
• Applicants from non‑represented IOM Member States are encouraged.
• Professional grade P‑2 level, with experience in migration, humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
