HR Officer

About the role

The HR Officer provides comprehensive support across core human‑resource functions, including recruitment, training, performance monitoring and employee relations. The role ensures smooth HR operations that contribute to process effectiveness and positive employee experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and maintain accurate employee records and departmental documents.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR queries and respond to internal and external inquiries professionally.
• Administer employee benefits, prepare certificates, letters and other HR‑related documentation.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment activities from job posting to offer management.
• Coordinate company social events, welfare programmes and initiatives to boost engagement and wellness.
• Support training and development logistics, maintain related records, and assist with both in‑class and remote sessions.
• Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring all documentation is completed and secured.
• Prepare HR reports to support the Head of HR/HR Manager.
• Report health, safety, environmental and food‑safety hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
• Apply and maintain ISO standards and related requirements.

Required profile

• High school completion or HR certificate; diploma in HR preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of strong HR generalist experience.
• Knowledge of applicable labour laws and basic payroll procedures.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations; cultural sensitivity and very good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRMS (Human Resource Management System).
• Experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
