Logistics Assistant Spare Parts Data Clerk

About the role

CTG is seeking a Logistics Assistant Spare Parts Data Clerk to support fleet transport and workshop operations. The role focuses on accurate data entry, document management, and daily reconciliation of records within the Fleet Management System (FMS).

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks related to fleet transport and workshop activities.
• Prepare, compile, sort, and verify source documents for data entry accuracy.
• Enter and update data in the FMS or other designated software, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Conduct daily and periodic reconciliation of records, comparing theoretical figures with physical records.
• Generate and review reports, maintaining timely delivery.
• Maintain organized filing and archiving systems for quick retrieval.
• Liaise with ICT to apply regular anti‑virus updates and handle basic FMS maintenance tasks.
• Analyze fleet data for discrepancies and report findings to the supervisor.
• Assist with goods receipt verification, quality control, and documentation of spare parts.
• Provide coverage for absent personnel and travel within the country as required.

Required profile

• Experience with administrative or data‑entry functions in logistics, transport, or workshop environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to verify and correct data accurately.
• Strong organizational skills for filing, archiving, and record‑keeping.
• Ability to work independently and support team members when needed.
