Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead all maintenance activities at our manufacturing facility in Port-au-Prince. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical, electrical and production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues, manage maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to maintenance teams, monitor performance and drive productivity.
• Collaborate with operations and production leadership on improvement initiatives.
• Manage the maintenance budget and liaise with external vendors and service providers.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects related to equipment and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Strong maintenance management experience, including planning and oversight of maintenance activities.
• Solid background in mechanical, electrical and production equipment maintenance.
• Proven experience in preventive‑maintenance program development and implementation.
• Supervisory experience with a focus on safety and team performance.
• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or related field (preferred).
• Manufacturing experience, especially in plastics, packaging or food production (asset).
• Fluency in Spanish (essential) and proficiency in English (highly desirable).
