Procurement Coordinator

About the role

Lufa Farms is seeking a meticulous, organized, and trustworthy negotiator to manage all commercial contracts and purchases across corporate, greenhouse, and warehouse departments. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Procurement Coordinator ensures that services and equipment are sourced at the best cost while supporting the company’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a master inventory list, keeping information up‑to‑date and accessible.
• Verify purchase requisitions, recommend alternatives, and forward available inventory items.
• Research products and pricing from multiple suppliers, obtain substitute recommendations, and secure approvals.
• Generate purchase orders, monitor order progress, and expedite deliveries.
• Validate shipments, resolve errors with suppliers, and reconcile received items with orders.
• Authorize payments in coordination with accounting.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize purchasing data to inform planning and control.
• Negotiate favorable prices and contract terms.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Strong negotiation skills and trustworthy character.
• Highly organized, meticulous, and reliable.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient with computers, especially Google Drive and Excel.
• Bilingual capability.
