Programme Policy Officer (NOA) – Miragoane, Haiti

About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Programme Policy Officer (NOA) to support the implementation of its Country Strategic Plan (CSP 2024‑2028) in Haiti. The officer will work from the Miragoane office and contribute to the design, coordination and monitoring of food security and nutrition programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementation and evaluation of emergency food assistance and nutrition‑oriented social safety nets.
• Support capacity‑building initiatives for small producers and promote resilience to climate change.
• Coordinate with national and local actors to strengthen their ability to combat hunger.
• Monitor programme performance against CSP objectives and prepare related reports.
• Contribute to the development of policy documents and operational guidelines.

Required profile

• Haitian national; female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Relevant university degree or equivalent experience in programme management, food security, or a related field.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, humanitarian environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
