Site Supervisor – Facilities Management (Talent Pool)

About the role

The Site Supervisor for Facilities Management will oversee daily maintenance and minor engineering activities at assigned forward operating base (FOB) locations. This role ensures work quality, safety compliance, and effective coordination with internal teams and client representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance operations at the designated FOB.
• Assign tasks to technicians and helpers, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, report progress, and maintain communication with the Location Project Manager.
• Implement safety procedures, lead toolbox talks, and manage emergency response activities.
• Allocate resources, including materials and equipment, and maintain accurate records of work and consumables.
• Liaise with client representatives (UNSOH) and local suppliers.
• Report health, safety, environmental, and food safety hazards and incidents.
• Apply ISO standards and drive performance management through KPIs, reviews, and training.

Required profile

• Trade certification in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, minor construction, or HVAC with supervisory responsibilities.
• Fluent English (mandatory); French preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work in remote FOB locations.

Required skills

• CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) usage.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with work order and basic reporting tools.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance, minor engineering, quality control, health & safety, and emergency response.
