Staff Assistant (G5) – Temporary UN Position in Haiti

About the role

The United Nations Support Office in Haiti (UNSOH) is seeking a temporary Staff Assistant (G5) to provide administrative support within its Medical Services Section. The position is based in Port-au-Prince and reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Medical Officer with day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
• Support the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH), the Haitian National Police, the Haitian Armed Forces, and the Gang Suppression Force (GSF) in joint operations.
• Provide technical assistance to the Organization of American States (OAS) as required.
• Maintain records, prepare documents, and coordinate communications for the Medical Services Section.

Required profile

• Based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
• Available for a temporary, fixed‑term assignment.
• Ability to report to and support the Chief Medical Officer.
