Team Coordinator – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

The Team Coordinator will lead the Checker Team to ensure all maintenance inspections are performed on schedule, meet quality standards, and comply with safety regulations across multiple specialty trades.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily inspections and quality assessments for carpentry, paint, masonry, electrical, HVAC, welding, and plumbing works.
• Schedule maintenance activities, prioritize work orders, and manage resource allocation with the Site Supervisor.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on completed tasks and prepare regular progress reports.
• Oversee team schedules, overtime, leave requests, and conduct toolbox talks.
• Monitor spare‑parts usage, liaise with the warehouse, and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Report health, safety, environmental, and food‑safety hazards and near‑miss incidents.
• Implement performance management by setting KPIs, reviewing performance, and providing on‑the‑job training.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in inspection or coordination roles.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Willingness to wear required PPE and attend daily safety briefings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS and inspection software.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Familiarity with quality‑control tools.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance planning and specialty‑area procedures.
