Web Content Developer – International Consultant (Category B)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Web Content Developer to work as an International Consultant (Category B) on a home‑based basis. The consultant will support the creation and migration of content for the new IOM Haiti website, ensuring a seamless transition to the new digital platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt web content for the new IOM Haiti website in line with organizational standards.
• Coordinate the migration process with the Online Communication Unit in Manila and the Communications Unit in Haiti.
• Collaborate closely with the Programme Support Unit head, Media and Communication Officer, and regional Media and Communications divisions.
• Draft, edit, and publish multimedia content for digital channels, including social media platforms.
• Maintain gender‑sensitive communication and adhere to IOM’s values and competency framework.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in digital communications, journalism, branding or a related field with at least four years of relevant experience, or a university degree with seven years of experience.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality content for digital channels and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work effectively with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); working knowledge of French is desirable.
