Child Protection Specialist (P-3) – Temporary Appointment

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Child Protection Specialist (P‑3) on a temporary appointment to strengthen its child protection programme in Haiti. Based in Port‑au‑Prince, you will support the design, implementation and evaluation of interventions that prevent violence, abuse and exploitation of children.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme and project development, including planning and budgeting.
• Manage programme delivery, monitor progress and ensure results are achieved.
• Provide technical and operational guidance throughout the programme cycle.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Promote innovation, knowledge management and capacity‑building activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law or a related social science.
• At least five years of professional experience in project planning and management within child‑protection or related fields.
• Experience working at the international level in developing‑country contexts, preferably in emergency settings.
