Director of Programs – Haiti

About the role

World Relief is seeking a senior leader to serve as Director of Programs for its Haiti country office. The role works closely with the Country Director to provide strategic leadership, oversee program implementation, and represent the organization with donors, government partners and NGOs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead needs assessments and develop sectoral engagement proposals aligned with donor priorities and technical capacity.
• Oversee development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of all programs, ensuring compliance with strategy and donor requirements.
• Ensure robust MEAL systems are in place to demonstrate impact and promote learning.
• Supervise sector leads and MEAL focal points, supporting budgeting, reporting and staff performance.
• Represent World Relief Haiti in donor meetings, government forums, clusters and other external platforms.
• Deputize for the Country Director as needed and contribute to contingency planning and emergency response.
• Collaborate with internal support functions (Finance, HR, Logistics, Procurement) to ensure operational effectiveness.
• Support proposal development, quality reporting and resource mobilization efforts.
