Education Officer (NO-2) – Fixed Term

About the role

UNICEF Haiti is seeking a dedicated Education Officer (NO-2) to advance quality, equitable and inclusive education for children across development, humanitarian and nexus contexts. Based in Port‑au‑Prince, you will support programme planning, implementation and monitoring, strengthen partnerships, and use data to inform decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support programme development and planning in development, nexus and emergency contexts.
• Manage programme implementation, monitor progress and ensure delivery of results.
• Provide technical and operational support to field teams.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government, NGOs and other implementing partners.
• Promote innovation, knowledge management and capacity‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed first‑level university degree (Bachelor’s) in Education, International Development, Social Sciences, Programme Management, Monitoring and Evaluation or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in education programmes, preferably in development or humanitarian settings.
