Education Specialist Cluster Coordinator (NO-3) – 6‑month TA

About the role

The Education Specialist Cluster Coordinator (NO‑3) will report to the Chief Education (Programme/Cluster) and play a pivotal role in coordinating the Education Cluster in Haiti during humanitarian emergencies. The position ensures that education interventions are strategic, timely, and aligned with international humanitarian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate humanitarian education actors across government, UN agencies, NGOs and other partners.
• Develop sectoral plans, monitor cluster performance and ensure accountability.
• Build and nurture partnerships and networking opportunities.
• Promote innovation, knowledge management and capacity‑building initiatives.
• Provide technical support to education programmes and ensure alignment with IASC core functions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in education, pedagogy, psychology, sociology, international development, management, social sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in programme planning, coordination, management or research in education.
• Demonstrated experience in humanitarian contexts.
• Fluency in French and intermediate proficiency in English.
