About the role

This part‑time gig involves building a diverse facial image dataset for machine‑learning research at TELUS. You will capture current neutral selfies, head‑pose images, and historical photos to help improve facial‑recognition models.

Key responsibilities

• Take and submit high‑quality frontal selfies with natural variation in lighting, background and accessories.
• Capture head‑pose images following assigned directions to add pose diversity.
• Provide older photos from personal galleries to represent natural aging.
• Ensure each submission meets the quality‑control guidelines and submit at least 20 valid images (30 recommended).

Required profile

• Access to a smartphone or camera capable of taking clear photos.
• Comfort with taking self‑portraits and sharing personal images.
• No specific education required; a Gmail address is mandatory for application.
