About the role
The Facilities Management Assistant will support the Engineering and Facilities Management Section in delivering reliable mission infrastructure across multiple locations. Working on day‑to‑day facility operations, the role ensures maintenance activities, contractor performance and space planning are coordinated to keep offices, accommodation and other assets functional.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily facilities management services, maintenance work orders and contractor performance.
- Conduct facility assessments, architectural surveys and infrastructure inspections.
- Develop and update architectural drawings, as‑built documentation and space allocation plans.
- Support workspace optimisation, accommodation planning and office reconfiguration projects.
- Assist in planning and supervising maintenance, refurbishment and minor engineering works.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, facility records and infrastructure databases.
- Provide technical reporting and analytical support for facilities‑management decision‑making.
Required profile
- Experience in facilities operations, architectural planning or space utilisation.
- Ability to coordinate and supervise contractors and maintenance activities.
- Strong analytical skills for reporting and documentation.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in high‑risk, multi‑location environments.
