Finance & HR Manager – International Humanitarian Missions

About the role

The Finance and Human Resources Manager will plan, coordinate and implement HR, administrative and financial activities for MSF international projects, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, MSF protocols and transparent resource management.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, analyse and monitor HR and financial operational needs and budgets, proposing corrective actions as required.
• Plan and supervise recruitment, training, induction, evaluation and staff development processes in coordination with the HR Coordinator.
• Ensure hiring, contract amendments and terminations comply with local labour laws and maintain accurate employee records.
• Supervise payroll processing in Homère, guaranteeing timely and accurate salary payments and indexation.
• Implement cash management, purchase procedures, payment validation and bank reconciliation to optimise project cash flow.
• Oversee accounting transactions, monthly and yearly closures, and prepare HR, administrative and financial reports.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, business management, HR or administration (desirable).
• Minimum two years of relevant experience, preferably with NGOs or in developing countries.
• Fluent in English (B2+), Spanish (C1+), and French (B2+).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and internet tools.
• Familiarity with MSF HR and financial software such as Homère, FFC and SAGA (desirable).
