Information Management Specialist – WASH & Education Cluster Coordination

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an Information Management Specialist to strengthen the data and information systems supporting the WASH and Education clusters in Haiti. The specialist will work on a three‑month temporary assignment based in Port‑au‑Prince, providing technical guidance to ensure that humanitarian response planning, monitoring and decision‑making are underpinned by reliable, timely information.

Key responsibilities

• Support the coordination of WASH and Education clusters by developing and maintaining information management tools and databases.
• Collect, validate, analyse and visualise data on water, sanitation, hygiene and education needs and service delivery.
• Produce regular situation reports, dashboards and maps to inform strategic and operational decisions.
• Facilitate data sharing among cluster partners, government agencies and UN partners.
• Provide training and capacity‑building to cluster staff on data collection and management procedures.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in information management, public health, education, humanitarian affairs or a related field.
• At least three years of professional experience in information management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Demonstrated experience working with WASH and/or education sectors in emergency settings.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data collection, validation and analysis methodologies.
• Experience with information management systems and database tools.
• Ability to produce clear visualisations, dashboards and reports.
