Information Management Specialist – WASH & Education Coordination

About the role

The Information Management Specialist will support the coordination of the WASH and Education clusters in Haiti, providing data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform a life‑saving humanitarian response.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information management systems for the clusters.
• Collect, validate and consolidate data from partners and field sites.
• Produce regular situation reports, dashboards and analytical briefs.
• Support needs analysis, operational planning and response monitoring.
• Provide technical advice on data quality, security and humanitarian standards.
• Facilitate information sharing among cluster members and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in information management, public health, education or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in humanitarian information management, preferably within WASH and/or education sectors.
• Familiarity with UN cluster coordination mechanisms and humanitarian standards.
• Ability to work in a complex emergency context and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an asset.

Required skills

• Data collection, validation and analysis.
• Report writing and visualization.
• Proficiency with information management tools such as Excel, GIS and database software.
• Knowledge of humanitarian standards (e.g., SPHERE, HACT).
