Light Vehicle Driver

About the role

The Light Vehicle Driver will ensure safe, reliable and economical transportation of passengers and cargo for CTG in Haiti. The role involves daily vehicle inspection, routine maintenance, accurate record‑keeping and strict adherence to safety and client guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a daily mechanical inspection of the vehicle and report any defects.
• Keep the vehicle clean and maintain it in good working order.
• Complete the vehicle logbook accurately each day.
• Fuel the vehicle on schedule and monitor fuel consumption against client parameters.
• Transport passengers and luggage safely, planning the most economical and safest routes.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance while the vehicle is in the workshop.
• Report any accidents immediately in line with organisational procedures.
• Travel only to authorized destinations with authorized passengers unless otherwise approved.

Required profile

• Valid national identity card.
• Detailed Curriculum Vitae and a blank certificate of good conduct and morals.
• Valid driving licence for light vehicles.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience driving light vehicles.
• Good spoken and written French.
• Ability to complete logbook entries accurately and on time.
