Logistics Assistant – Spare Parts Data Clerk

About the role

CTG is seeking a Logistics Assistant Spare Parts Data Clerk to support fleet transport and workshop activities. The role focuses on accurate data handling, document management, and routine administrative tasks related to spare parts and fleet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, compile, sort and verify source documents for data entry accuracy.
• Enter and update data in the Fleet Management System (FMS) or other designated software.
• Perform daily reconciliation of records and transactions, ensuring data integrity.
• Maintain filing systems, archive documents, and retrieve files promptly when required.
• Respond to information requests, print documents, and comply with data security policies.
• Coordinate with ICT to apply regular anti‑virus updates and perform basic system maintenance.
• Capture screenshots of database errors and forward them to the FMS support team.
• Analyze fleet data, report discrepancies, and support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual record comparisons.
• Assist with goods receipt, count and register spare parts, and report any quantity or quality issues.
• Provide backup for subordinate personnel and travel occasionally within the country as needed.

Required profile

• Experience with administrative and data‑entry tasks in a logistics or fleet environment.
• Familiarity with document verification, filing, and archiving procedures.
• Ability to perform regular data reconciliation and maintain data accuracy.
• Willingness to collaborate with ICT and follow security protocols.
