About the role
The Logistics Manager will plan, coordinate and monitor all logistics activities for international humanitarian projects, ensuring they align with MSF protocols and standards. The role supports medical assistance by managing construction, transport, water and sanitation, supply chains, and office facilities. Availability of at least six months is required.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Project or Logistics Coordinator in defining and following up logistics activities, responding to the needs of the targeted population.
- Oversee construction, transport of goods and staff, communications, water and sanitation, vehicle management, and installation of functional office and lodging facilities.
- Implement and maintain an appropriate supply chain for the project.
- Manage administrative logistics tasks such as orders, insurances, and vehicle contracts.
- Participate in HR processes for logistics staff, ensuring proper recruitment, training, and evaluation.
- Provide technical reference and coaching to logistics staff and ensure proper briefing on communication tools.
- Define and monitor technical aspects of risk reduction, security, evacuation, and contingency plans.
- Contribute to monthly reporting according to MSF guidelines.
Required profile
- Technical diploma or university degree, preferably in engineering or architecture.
- Minimum two years of relevant logistics experience; experience with MSF or NGOs in developing countries is desirable.
- Languages: English (B2+), Spanish (C1+), French (B2+).
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and internet usage.

- Monthly gross bonus of approximately USD 2,500 for the first 12 months, with increases thereafter based on experience.
