Logistics Manager Haiti

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council is seeking a senior Logistics Manager to lead its logistics operations in Haiti. The role ensures that all logistics arrangements meet NRC standards and support programme implementation across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Provide line‑management for directly reporting staff, including performance management and goal setting aligned with country strategy.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, staff induction, development and duty of care for the logistics team.
• Ensure the country logistics structure complies with NRC logistical guidelines, policies and donor requirements.
• Implement NRC logistics systems, develop in‑country logistics policy documentation and maintain up‑to‑date procedures.
• Deliver timely logistics support services to all NRC programme activities.
• Coordinate closely with logistics and programme managers across all NRC Area Offices.
• Enable cash‑based interventions by collaborating with programme teams and creating relevant guidelines and SOPs.
• Participate in assessments and response analysis to identify opportunities for cash‑based and market‑based programmes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a senior Logistics Manager in a humanitarian or recovery context.
• Proven experience working in complex and volatile environments.
• Demonstrated results related to logistics management responsibilities.
• Experience in data collection, analysis and report writing.
• Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
• Knowledge of the Haitian context and, optionally, Haitian Creole.
• Valid driving licence.
