Nursing Activity Manager – International Humanitarian Missions

About the role

Join Médecins Sans Frontières as a Nursing Activity Manager to lead nursing services in international humanitarian missions across Central America and the Caribbean. You will ensure quality, efficient care and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for at least six months.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and organise nursing activities (in‑patient, out‑patient, maternity, nutrition) and contribute to annual budgeting.
• Supervise implementation of therapeutic protocols (PPTCT, PEP, VCT, IEC, SGBV, mental health) and ensure confidentiality and traceability.
• Oversee nutritional programmes, pharmacy stock management, medical device use and laboratory sample coordination.
• Manage nursing staff recruitment, training, evaluation and development in collaboration with HR.
• Report to line manager, contribute to monthly reports and maintain administrative documentation.

Required profile

• Nursing diploma (Bachelor in Nursing desirable) and preferably a diploma in tropical medicine.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience with polyvalent clinical exposure (e.g., internal medicine, ER, pediatrics, intensive care).
• English at B1/B2 level; French is an asset.
• Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet).
