Procurement Coordinator – Haitian National Police Training

About the role

The Procurement Coordinator will manage the acquisition of equipment and supplies needed to support the Haitian National Police training program in Port‑au‑Prince. The role requires close collaboration with the U.S. Embassy, INL, and project management teams to ensure compliance with both U.S. and Haitian procurement regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct all procurement activities for equipment and supplies supporting the police training program.
• Coordinate with the U.S. Embassy and Project Manager on legal issues specific to Haiti.
• Advise on implementation of new policies and practices in a foreign legal environment.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements in partnership with INL and the Embassy.
• Supervise local national staff as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of procurement operations experience in an international setting, including supervisory experience.
• At least five years developing and implementing large procurement supply‑chain projects, preferably in the Caribbean or Latin America.
• Experience coordinating programs in foreign languages and ability to work under pressure.
• U.S. citizenship with eligibility for an MRPT (Moderate Risk Public Trust) clearance.
• Prior experience working in Haiti is preferred.
