Programme Associate – WASH (G-6) – Fixed Term

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Programme Associate to support its Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programme in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Working under the Chief WASH, you will provide specialised programme and administrative assistance to ensure effective planning, implementation and monitoring of activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project management and partnership implementation.
• Manage data, conduct analysis and prepare regular reports.
• Oversee grant administration, budget monitoring and financial reporting.
• Promote digital innovation and improve operational efficiency.
• Facilitate communication, knowledge sharing and dissemination of results.
• Support capacity‑building initiatives and event coordination.
• Provide surge support and ensure business continuity during emergencies.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education.
• Minimum six years of relevant administrative or clerical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong judgment, proactive problem‑solving and attention to detail.
