Programme Associate – WASH (G-6) – Port-au-Prince, Haiti

About the role

The Programme Associate supports the Chief of WASH in developing, implementing and monitoring UNICEF's water, sanitation and hygiene programmes in Haiti. The role combines programme and administrative duties, including data analysis, budget tracking, reporting and coordination with internal and external partners to ensure effective delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in project management and partnership coordination for WASH initiatives.
• Manage data collection, analysis and reporting for programme performance.
• Support grant management, budget monitoring and financial reporting.
• Promote digital innovation and operational efficiency within the programme.
• Facilitate communication, knowledge sharing and dissemination of results.
• Contribute to capacity‑building activities and event coordination.
• Provide surge support and ensure business continuity during emergencies.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education.
• Minimum six years of relevant administrative or clerical experience.
• Proficiency in French and intermediate level of English.
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to anticipate needs and recommend actions.
