Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

At Lufa Farms, a fast‑growing food‑tech company, we are looking for a senior‑level financial analyst to join our Finance team. The role combines rigorous financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting with strategic analysis of investment projects and special initiatives. You will act as a key business partner, helping drive data‑informed decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Support the budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Develop and maintain corporate financial models that reflect operational performance and future scenarios.
• Design and implement dashboards and management reporting tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create system solutions that accurately capture operating activities.
• Produce ad‑hoc analyses and business cases for senior management, the Board and shareholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred.
• Minimum four years of relevant financial analysis or FP&A experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Google Suite.
• Familiarity with financial information systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
