Technical Consultant – Gavi 6.0 Application Development for Haiti

About the role

The Technical Consultant will support UNICEF Haiti in preparing a high‑quality Gavi 6.0 application for the period 2026‑2030. The assignment is remote/home‑based with occasional mission travel and lasts for five months.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of a comprehensive, fully costed multi‑year work plan for the Gavi application.
• Ensure the application meets all Gavi 6.0 requirements, including prioritisation of immunisation system bottlenecks and realistic delivery approaches.
• Coordinate with implementing partners to define clear roles, implementation arrangements and a robust monitoring framework.
• Provide expert guidance on Gavi funding mechanisms, health‑systems strengthening and data‑system integration.
• Deliver a compliant and competitive submission within the compressed timeline.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (master’s or higher) in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Health Supply Chain or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working on Gavi applications.
• More than 5 years of experience in immunisation programme design, implementation or management.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of immunisation programmes and Gavi funding mechanisms.
• Expertise in health‑systems strengthening and supply‑chain management.
• Familiarity with Gavi 6.0 Country Foundations and Consolidated approaches.
