Test Engineer – HT

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Test Engineer (HT) to design, execute and continuously improve testing processes, ensuring our software products meet functional, technical and quality standards. The role works closely with development, product and design teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
• Analyze requirements, user stories and technical specifications to identify testing needs.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, exploratory and performance testing.
• Execute manual and automated tests, including API, database, cross‑browser, cross‑platform and device testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document and track software defects, providing detailed defect reports.
• Retest resolved defects and conduct regression testing after software changes.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and testing frameworks where applicable.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Participate in release testing and deployment validation activities.
• Monitor test results, communicate quality risks and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of testing activities, results and defects.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation coverage, tools and overall product quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer or Software Tester.
• Hands‑on experience with test case creation, test planning and defect management.
• Experience testing web, mobile, desktop, API or similar applications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

Required skills

• Jira (or similar bug‑tracking tool)
• TestRail or Azure DevOps for test management
• Postman (or comparable API testing tool)
• SQL for database testing
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with automated testing concepts and frameworks
