About the role
We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Operator to manage food‑ration shipments in a HACCP‑compliant environment. You will receive, store, and dispatch supplies while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and store food rations according to HACCP standards.
- Load and unload pallets using a forklift, pallet jack or hand truck.
- Pick client orders with provided technology, pack boxes and place completed orders in designated areas.
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location data and printing requests.
- Apply the “clean as you go” policy to keep shelves, pallet areas and workstations tidy.
- Report health, safety, environmental and food‑safety hazards or near‑miss incidents.
- Assemble products on pallets and verify quantities against delivery notes.
Required profile
- High school certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years relevant warehouse experience.
- Physically fit – able to lift 25 kg without aid.
- Basic English reading, writing and speaking skills.
- Experience in NGO or food‑ration projects is an advantage.
Required skills
- Forklift operation (certificate/license preferred).
- Knowledge of HACCP food‑handling standards.
- Basic safety training and hazard awareness.
- Proper lifting techniques and ergonomic awareness.
- PPE usage and basic ergonomic practices.
