Water Analysis Laboratory Technician

About the role

The Water Analysis Laboratory Technician will support the Engineering and Facilities Management Section by conducting water and wastewater sampling, performing field and laboratory analyses, and ensuring compliance with environmental and public health standards. The role combines laboratory work with field measurements and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement water and wastewater sampling programmes and follow approved procedures.
• Conduct laboratory and field testing of physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records, and reagent inventories.
• Record and manage water quality data, identify non‑compliant results, and report them promptly.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain laboratory documentation and quality databases.
• Assist engineering teams with field surveys, measurements, and verification activities.
• Support the preparation and updating of technical drawings, layouts, and as‑built records.

Required profile

• Experience with water quality monitoring and laboratory procedures.
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment and field testing tools.
• Attention to detail for accurate data recording and reporting.
• Capability to work collaboratively with engineering and environmental teams.
